Rob Kennard attended a one day course at the beginning of the month after receiving a voucher for his 50th birthday. Like many others Rob had turned before and just needed a bit of encouragement to get back in the swing of things - this is what Rob had to say..........................

I recently attended a wood turning beginners day with Andy at his fantastically equipped workshop in Fordingbridge. As someone who has dabbled (not very successfully!) in wood turning in the past, this was the ideal course for me. Andy has an adaptability in his teaching approach and superb knowledge and skill. With Andy's help I was able to take away a very lovely bowl in cedar, and Andy has given me the confidence to progress in my own turning once again. Many thanks to Andy for a superb day! Rob
